AE is running a promotion where you “vote” for your favorite fit by buying that fit of jeans. There is a way to get the winning fit without having to buy the jeans by “voting” for each of the 4 fits, and include a return envelope for each one. That’s 4 x $0.82 postage = $3.28 for free jeans!
How to enter in the store: Beginning at the start of the store operating hours (local time to participating American Eagle retail location) on July 10, 2007 and continuing until the end of business (local time to participating American Eagle retail location) on July 24, 2007, vote for your “favorite” Fit Style of AE jeans by making a purchase of a pair of any of the following participating AE jeans “Fit Styles”, while supplies last: Women’s: Hipsters, AE Artist, Boyfriend 77, AE Blue Issue or Men’s: Bootcut, Loose, Low Rise Slim Boot, Low Rise Slim Straight, Low Rise Boot (each, a “Participating Fit Style”). NOTE: purchase of pair(s) of AE clearance jeans will not qualify as a vote/entry for this Sweepstakes. At time of purchase, you will receive one (1) AE jeans Fit Style Certificate for each Participating Fit Style purchased (i.e. if you purchase three (3) pairs of Hipsters, you will receive three (3) AE jeans Hipster Fit Style Certificates. If you purchase one (1) pair of Hipsters and one (1) pair of AE Artists, you will receive one (1) AE jeans Hipster Fit Style Certificate and one (1) AE jeans Artist Fit Style Certificate.) Each eligible purchase of a Participating Fit Style during the Promotion Period will count as one (1) vote for that Participating Fit Style.
How to enter by mail: Beginning on July 10, 2007, you may submit your vote for a Participating Fit Style (including Favorite Fit) and request the applicable AE jeans Fit Style Certificate (while supplies last) by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope and a 3” x 5” piece of paper, hand-printed with your name, address, city, state, zip code, daytime telephone number, date of birth, name of a Participating Fit Style and email address to: AE FIT CHALLENGE, PO BOX 6041, Sherman Oaks, CA, 91413 (Mail-in Vote Entry”). Residents of the State of Vermont and of Canada may omit the return postage on their Mail-in Vote Entries/Fit Style Certificate requests. ALL MAIL-IN VOTE ENTRIES/FIT STYLE CERTIFICATE REQUESTS MUST BE POSTMARKED BY JULY 25, 2007 AND RECEIVED BY AUGUST 1, 2007. Limit one (1) Mail-in Vote Entry/Fit Style Certificate Request per stamped outer envelope. Each eligible Mail-in Vote Entry/Fit Style Certificate Request received for a Participating Fit Style will count as one (1) vote for that Participating Fit Style.
